Defenders of the Earth: The Defenders must fight a fanatic cult calling themselves the "Leauge of Flesh and Blood" who are opposed to the existence of robots, believing that they are crippling human independence. Flash develops a romantic bond with the female member of the group, Kala. When a shocking revelation about the League is exposed, Ming the Merciless, hoping to improve his army's robotics, takes advantage of the League's shameful secret and strikes a bargain with them, and it involves kidnapping the young Defenders. Can Flash and the Defenders save them?
