Punky Brewster: When the apartment door is accidentally left open, Brandon makes a sudden escape, leaving Punky devastated and determined to find him. Not even a 5-hour-long search party brings the dog back in Punky's arms, and Cherie blames herself for the whole thing. Meanwhile, Brandon, who is now a "free man" on the streets, comes across a lonely young boy who would love nothing more than a pet of his own.
