Republic of Doyle: Republic of Doyle follows the story of Jake Doyle (played by Allan Hawco) who is a unpredictable and a bit of rogue private investigator in St. John�s, Newfoundland. He is joined in his investigations by his father Malachy (played by Sean McGinley). Allan Hawco is also the show�s writer and producer.
